Delete your BookInspire account

You can delete your BookInspire account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. In the app (fastest)

Open BookInspire and go to Settings → Delete account, then confirm. Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately.

2. By email

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to privacy@bookinspire.app from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete account”. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email address, display name, sign-in identifiers)
• Your library, reviews, wishlist and reading preferences
• Your taste profile and generated recommendations
• Push-notification tokens and device identifiers

What is not deleted by this

An active subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not by us — deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. We may also retain minimal records where the law requires it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
